The loss of someone dear to us can leave us feeling lost, alone, and in a world of pain. In this sad poem, I will try to capture the heartbreak of such a loss and express the emotions that come with it. I have tried to [express](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/am-dying-to-express.md) the pain of a loss and the emotions that come with it. But even in the midst of heartbreak, there is [hope](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/do-you-still-have-hope.md). The hope that someday, the tears will stop falling, and the [rain](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/raindrops.md) will wash away the pain, leaving only memories of the love we once shared. ![Tears in the Rain](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Tears-in-the-Rain.jpeg) The [rain](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/rain-killed-my-life.md) falls gently on my face, Matching the tears that fall in its embrace. The [memories](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/memories.md) of you still linger here, A constant reminder of what I hold dear. The world seems so [empty](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/emptiness.md) without you, And everything I do just [feels](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/what-are-these-feelings.md) so blue. I try to [smile](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/a-broken-smile.md) and hide the pain, But [nothing](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/without-you-nothing.md) is ever quite the same. I find myself [lost](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/fishing-for-a-dream-part-3-lost.md) in thoughts of you, And all the things that we used to do. I [wish](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/i-wish-i-could-fly.md) that I could hold you close, And never let you go. But [time](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/footprints-in-time.md) moves on and so must I, Even if it [feels](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/what-are-these-feelings.md) like I could die. The pain of [loss](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/fear-of-loss.md) is all too real, And it’s a wound that [time](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/times-in-our-lives.md) can’t heal. So I’ll walk in the rain and shed my tears, For all the love and all the fears. I’ll hold your memory [close to my heart](https://www.poetryoflife.com/wp-content/uploads/wp-mfa-exports/post/close-to-my-heart.md), And hope that someday we’ll never be apart.
