I am scared When you look at an old man on the road And say, ‘Heeeyyyy dude’ And I see myself laughing out loud. I am scared When you say you would walk a 500 miles And fall at my doorstep just to see me. I am scared When you say You want to make me happy And see me smiling always. I am scared When my best buddy says – “You are flying high” I am scared When you say you were a flirt But when it comes to me, ‘It’s different’ I am scared When I spend more time with you And I see myself changing my routines. I am scared When you say am beautiful And you take pride in presenting me. I am scared When you say I am your princess And steal a smile from me. I am scared When I find myself Going out of my way just to meet you. I am scared When I see myself cooking for you Even before we started living.
