as i race into the mid-day traffic
i kickstart my own race
with my eyes glued on the road
my mind spins it own story
images of you and me
running away to our little nest in this chaotic city
i kickstart my own race

the images of the last few hours
quickly scanned through
like a computer doing its wizardry
my mind conjures up its own sorcery
isolating a few images
the magic start once again
navigating through this traffic
i find myself in wonderland
honking of the horn(s),
the madness of the rush hour traffic
all seemed out of place
in this wonderland that i find myself in
with my eyes looking at the road ahead
my mind plays out its own fairy tale
my mind suddenly fast forwards
into the unknown future
images of you and me
images of you and me
running away to our little nest in this chaotic city
images of you and me
as quickly as they came
vapourized into the mid-day traffic
when the first drops of the rain descended
from the heavens above!
