back to the beginning,
starting at square one,
where one chapter ended
another one starts;

as the race for life
grows tighter and crazier,
the winds of memories
bring in the sweet days of yesteryears;

as I took a walk
and gazed up into the sky
it seems so strange
looking at the sun and the moon together;

as the anchored heart
slowly sets sail
into the ocean of life
I hold on to the rails;

I hold on to the rails,
standing on deck
gazing at the horizon
watching the sunset;

miles away from where I am,
as the beauty of the dreams
slowly float into the twilight,
I am amazed at the psychedelic feelings
that seem to have taken a hold of my senses;
