every single day and night
lots of things to do,
lots of places to go to.

caught in the swirl of madness
running helter and skelter
dreams shoved away to a corner!

time came to a standstill
the moment you entered my life
darkness that filled my soul
has been replaced by the sweetness of your smile!

sitting here lost in the thoughts of you
time has come to a standstill
prolonging the pain
of not being with you!

thinking about the moment
standing before you,
looking into your eyes,
i whisper the words
that’s tearing my heart apart!

as i wait for the moment
that will bring us closer,
i just wish time comes to a standstill
when you and me walk hand in hand into the sunset!
